When people say things like this, it genuinely makes me so mad…and I am normally good at holding anger back. I have cuts on my left arm, but that was my past. I don’t cover it up anymore. Why should I be afraid of my past? I am who I am today because of my past, and I’m a damn good person today. My scars just show that I’ve been through tough times like the rest of the world…and that I am strong enough to continue on. It gives others hope. Even to those that don’t cut.
